My AI Learning Journey

A hands-on curriculum across AI fundamentals, generative AI, agents, RAG, tools, and multi-agent systems. Along the way, I’m also studying how different learning platforms teach technical topics.

The goal isn’t to collect badges. Every major learning experience should result in something I understand, test, build, or apply.

Learning as a student, observing as a learning designer.

01 / Progress

Where the journey stands

Every number here is calculated from the curriculum data. Progress is weighted by estimated hours, so a 20-hour course counts for more than a 90-minute one.

Learning the Learning Platforms

Part of this experiment is comparing how different platforms teach technical skills. I’m tracking the learning design, practice, assessment, feedback, and overall learner experience as I go.

Observations, not a ranking. Platforms stay in a fixed order and averages include finished courses only.

Learning by Building

Courses connect to small, testable builds. Each one is a way to check whether I actually understood what I studied.

Planned

Technical Content Health Agent

Use documentation, release notes, and learning content as a knowledge base. Retrieve relevant information, identify potentially stale or inconsistent content, explain the concern, recommend an update, and require human approval before producing changes.

  1. 01

    Retrieve

Find relevant docs, release notes, and learning content.

  2. 02

    Detect

Flag content that may be stale or inconsistent.

  3. 03

    Explain

Say why it looks wrong, with sources.

  4. 04

    Recommend

    Propose a specific update.

  5. 05

    Approve

A human reviews before anything changes.

Why this project: keeping technical content accurate at scale is a problem I’ve worked on for years, including an AI system for technical content. The capstone tests how far agents, retrieval, and a human approval step can take it.

What I’m Learning About Learning

One of my goals with this curriculum is to pay attention to the learning experience itself. How quickly does a platform get learners doing something? How authentic is the practice? How useful is the feedback? How well do assessments measure actual capability? Those questions are part of the curriculum too.
